A local lad here made over 400 with a forged 4E on 5EFHE cams and a standard inlet mani. I suppose it boils down to where you want the power rather than how much with cams.
I see I can get a Speedvision billet camshaft for only $100, but that's only the intake camshaft. Any experience with this cam? And how is it to just change the intake?
Not worth just having the intake cam, there will be too much Scavenging left over and there will continually be dirty combustion.
It's worth having a set of cams if you can make them run with your setup, ie boost and rev limit.
