any 5e,s out there running vf turbos

Well lads iv started a 5e build (forged) and was woundering if anyone is running a vf28 on it as i already have a td04 kit ready to go i also have a fresh vf28 turbo i could use with the turbo kit... what kind of power does the vf make on a 5e with good managment and good map... td05 was another option i could take.. thanks for any info lads

i ran a 5e vf28 at 1.5bar made 334 bhp with rapid spool... spooled better than a td04 4e setup. this was probly my best all round setup before i went for more power. now its lost some drivability and gained loads of topend. i went for a td05 16g (was only a mild step up from the vf28, and now a td06 20g-this is another league)


the vf28 is now on my 1.8 mx5 as i wouldnt change it for anything.

What manegment did you run and any head work done to the 5e... i also read hear that the vf turbo are only good for about 1.4 bar boost how well did yours run with the vf

Hi
All the ball bearing VF are rated for 1.3 1.4bar maxi but you can sometimes go over this threshold with moderation ... IF you want more go to VF35 ..you will not be disapointed ,better spool than vf28 and same top end on our 5e
