Any Way to find out your origional jap Plate's

Is there any way to find out you origional jap number plates?

I want to get a set made up for when i start putting the car on some Show stands

I seen a S14 with its UK plates made in metal with the black jap symbols above the UK reg all embossed sorta thing

Looked mega, anyone know wherre I could get some done :D

I remember seeing a advert somewhere for those types, i forget where though. i'll try find it

I think what Frankie is meaning, is what was the reg of the car in Japan, not show plates.

at a guess I'd say you'd need some contacts in the Jap DVLA, can't think of anyway to find this info out on the tinternet. Hope someone can prove me wrong though, it'd be cool as to have some Jap plates made up.

You could roughly work out what your plate was from the Wiki link above. Obviously you would need to know where the car was from etc to get it spot on.....

Would be interesting to find this out too, my car only had one previous owner too! I found what looks like a Japanese MOT document (shakken or something) from last year hiding behind my glove box when i put new speakers in on Friday! I think its got the guy's address on the letter as it was still in the envelope!

In the not too distant future I foresee him innocently answering his front door only to get monkey-leaped by a strange english lad screaming "DADDY!" :D
 
I to have all service history and MOT's .. and the dealers address where the car was 1st braught.. it might be in there for mine.. :D .. i shall have a look sometime!

is there not some sort of registration number on hte shaken /mot certificate like on hte english ones ?

Probably i can't read any of it though! The only bit i understand is EP91 and that he paid 4000 odd yen for something. I might scan it in
