Anyone had probs with surge on a TD04 hybrid???

Hears the craic, on the mrs starlet, we are running a fully forged engine, 330,s hybrid TD04, but still on standard cam,s only running a smidgen over a bar of boost till we can wire in the f-con pro gold ( need a loom if anyone has one for an 82 ;)) but its deffo surging!!!

anyone had this before?

Its holding 15psi tho mate on a hks ebc 6 boost controller...

Maybe it could be mapped out with the decent ecu as its still on the dastek.... Hmmmm?

Heres the craic you mean sorry had to be said but it is an Irish saying and thats the way to say it lol:haha:. Theres some stock heads have reached up to 300bhp+ with big boost on here cant remember who though think Danes was stock.

stock head for for atleast 350 proven, but will find out for sure this weekend what a stock head can take;)

what hybrid is it dude?

It will depend mainly on the turbo spec, what boost at what RPM are you doing when you think its surging? You could map it out i'd guess.

flip bit odd that ! stock head will flow about 350 or so hp with any luck abit more but il know at the weekend ;)
