apexi ECU???

Just a quick question.. what are these ECU's like.. i no dam all about them and hopfully somebody on here knows something

Expensive, and it all depends on what set-up its for. If its on a car that's had mild tuning work done, something cheaper like an emanage would be the better option id of said.
Definitely worth having one though if you can get your hands on it. Youll always be able to sell it

find a tuner you like and get friendly with them, then buy a standalone that they recomend.

a power fc is a bit of a pain, it doesnt have closed loop knock control, there is few and fewer tuners willing to tune them these days, and finding a good tuner is a pain, they only have an extra 16 tuning points over the emanage ultimate, and have less features than an ultimate, and the technology in them is old.

there ok ecu's but there is better out there, there on par with a greddy emanage ultimate, but a lot worse than other standalone ecu.


edit: didnt realise u were in ireland, decnt trustworthy tuners are hard to find in the uk.

There are a few places in ireland that map them mate, expensive enough though. Westward in enfield and couture auto in meath both map them and im sure there are others. Maybe if you get in touch with them they could give you the con's and pro's, or recommend a better option.
