are ep91 intake manifolds water cooled? or have water throught them at all?

How you doing..

have got a slight leak coming from my intake manifold and was wondering
if they are water cooled etc as its definitly not petrol leaking ?

yes but in fact its not for cooling, its for heating the throttle body.. check the pipes/hoses underneath for cracks...

its possible but could be just a cracked hose...theres two hoses for water and two for vacuum..make sure you label if your taking off the throttle body.. if the throttle body is cracked you will need to replace it.. seen a case before where this happened and the fella thought it was headgasket failure cause it was pouring white smoke out of the exhaust... spent needles money and all it was was the throttle body cracked and sucking water into the engine

some heads have a water port near the bottom (on the throttle side) where the intake manifold and head connect/meet

check that area and see if its dripping from there...as well as what corofin told you above

yeah cheers fellas much appreciated ;) gonna fire it back on tomorow and see if its were the water ports are.. was a bit scared because liquids from an inlet mani alsways spell petrol lol and end up in smoke llf
