AVATAR 3D...Saw it today

I enjoyed it I guess, albeit whilst detesting those stupid 3D glasses

I did think it was a bit unoriginal though - ok, the specifics of this case were quite unique; the natives, the planet etc but the story line is nothing new (Dance with the Wolves, Pocahontas etc...), and no-way was this a 14yr old dream of Cameron's, its taken influence from a multitude of Epic movies in the last decade or so...but it was still relatively enjoyable, and the CGI was just amazing.

And it was wrong getting a crush on what essentially is a cat

Saw this last night in 3D, didn't really know what to expect. Was really, really impressed. I would nearly go and see it again. There aren't many films I would say that about.

I was expecting it to be exactly what it was; a semi-decent story with amazing visuals and that's exactly what I got! The story isn't massively unique but it was still good, likeable characters and pretty interesting. Some of the scenes were astonishing (visually) and the 3D was pretty fun! Really liked this movie.

Also, anyone think the main female Na'vi was fit? ROFL JK

I watched this yesterday in 3d and to be fair it wasnt all that. VERY predictable which ruined it, and i was at the front row and the glasses didnt give me a headache!
