AVCR wiring purple wire

well lads, i am trying to wire my avcr and was just wondering where to wire the purple wire to is it for rpm1 or rpm 2,

neither, goes to injector signal.

red wire- IG power
purple- injector
white- speed
yellow/green-ground
black wire-ground also

thanks for the reply durmz, not contradicting ya but i was told the injector was not needed and to wire the purple for engine rpm instead but on the acvr diagram it show rpm1 and rpm2???

na i agree mate. i may be wrong, and will eat my hat if so. but when i set up mine i had problems and was told that way and it worked. its a confusing instruction because on the instruction manual it says
PURPLE WIRE - connect to engine RPM (injector signal wire)
