Bee R Rev Limiter

@ Toby i would be more concerned about the rods than it throwing up an engine light..(mine hardly did that anyway)

Anyhows i bent a rod on a ct9 with one, and someone put a rod through the side of their block with one aswell...just a warning to anyone who wants one

Why? You can't run more than the stock RPM anyway revs kill rods not BeeR's it was probably just a coincidence that it happened when you had one. You can't go above the stock RPM limit with one unless you change the ECU, if you were running 9,000RPM with a different ECU fair play!

With the rod through the block were you referring to Tom?

Get one then but they don't work well with our ECU's period, just put a spark plug in the exhaust if your that desperate or get a big turbo and a nice rich map!

That's just age of rods and ware mate not the BeeR, rods go all the time on Starlets when you start to push the boundries they are not that strong

It cuts ignition rather than fuel the rods do there thing regardless of whether you have one or not. It's always easy to blame something like this but in reality it's just revving the tits off your car and driving it hard, maybe as they had a BeeR they felt inclined to rev it more but it's not the BeeR's fault it's the stock rods and your right foot

Not with Emanage as it's a piggy back and the stock ECU is still there, we had one on demo no2 with Emanage Ultimate and it hated it, really did. With power FC it may be okay as it's full standalone and you junk the stock ECU.

Here you can see ours circled in yellow before it came out!

Yeah, i know what they do lol.....i wasnt really pushing the boundries on a standard engine tho was i....

And about using them on PFC's, they dont like it due to grounding issues

No it was sold, I have the feeling your going to buy one anyway but I'll let you find out first hand. Just being honest, as a trader you would think we would say yeah buy it, we can get one, but in reality our little monsters just don't like them.

I'm not sure why my rod went. Iv been told way to many things. I did believe it was the Bee*R but then I thought it was cuz I did used to have a heavy right foot :haha: but I dunno.

I dont use mine any more any way. It got boring after a few days.
