Thought I would share some pics of the ride my mate leant me whilst the GT is getting worked on again...this car has 125k miles on it and still drives amazingly well; was owned from new till 2005 by a Toyota technician, found it for my mate 5 years ago and is a real credit to Toyota; actually made him an offer for it!









Still revs cleanly to redline 7,900rpm :drive:

remember seeing one in banzai had the same owner since day one and had something stupid like 25k miles on it

the only thing that happens these mr2's is the engine hood was badly designed and it channels water right down on top of the alternator resulting in failure over time...rust can be an issue around front arches and back grill.. other wise they are very good and a cracking looking car...

Must admit I like the mk1s more every time I see one, it looks especially good in the first pic! I'd love to have a supercharged one one day, mind you done well to find one that isn't full of holes though...
