Best fuel computer?

Hey people, just wanted to get some options on what you lot think is the best fuel computer to run on a 4efte?

i don't need any info on piggyback ecu just the piggy fuel comps like safc and the neo.

what are there for the 4efte and what would do the best job

i used a safc 2 was ok very easy to use
going to go motec route now i think tho

what power did you run with the safc2?

motec being the standalone ecu?

I have run the Neo with CT9 at 1.2bars quite well and now running TD04 at 0.8bar but it needs remapping for higher boost. Great piece of kit easy to use and as much adjustment fuel wise as the emanage.

i was running 1 bar on a ct9 mate with other mods to suit
to be honest i havnt got a clue but i would say about maybe 180-190 bhp

yes mate ive got a 5e set up now with a vf34 ballbearing turbo so i think a motecs the most sensible option for me

Not quiet sure about them having the same amount of fuel adjustment as the emanage. The neo and safc are basic air/fuel controllers whereas the emanage is alot more detailed.

In my relatively stock 99 Glanza running at 11.5 -12 psi, will adding a SAFC-2 do any good? I am running stock injectors and fuel pump.
And...does the SAFC act as a FCD as well?

safc wont remove fuel cut you will need an fcd

Thanks mate....bt could u pls tell me what benefit i could get if i installed a SAFC in my fairly stock glanza running @ 12psi? Pls note that i have no fueling mods.

no benefit really buddy
safc are mainly used when u increase the fuel pressure with and rrfpr and then it trimmed down using the safc

hks pfc fcon are a great job,work very well.

basically i am gunna run a bar maybe 1.1 on my hybrid but dont really want to go to the expense of an emb so was looking for a good fuel computer.

will any mapper be able to map a safc or neo?

if running a safc will i need an uprated fuel pump? as you seem to be able to get away with it with a emb.

you will need rrfpr with the safc because the safc wont add fuel above fuel cut

yeah i got all that, i have everything for well over a bar minus any advanced management.

so only at 0.8 till i decide what to do.

Not quiet sure about them having the same amount of fuel adjustment as the emanage. The neo and safc are basic air/fuel controllers whereas the emanage is alot more detailed.

Well the Neo in Pro mode has 16 points of adjustment and in Easy mode it only has 8 which is the same as the older safc. Also it states a 50% +/- adjustment. The Emanage a 20% +/- adjustment and a 16 point (Maybe more)fuel/air adjustment.

If I knew more about fueling and timong when I bought the fuel computer I would have waited and got the Emanage due to timing settings etc.

I used an safc2 with hks fcd & sard fpr with my ct9 worked ok but im going with a unichip however im thinking of selling that & getting something better, also i will be removing my safc2 (with apexi stand) & hks fcd tommorrow (if i get time) & will be putting it up for sale on this forum

emanage is a diffrent world then a safc2 all the safc dose is change the map reading .emanage is 10 times better, emanage can change the map reading , injector signals 16x16 and timing 16x16, boost cut clamp built in and thats only the blue.
