thats what its like half the time anyway. keep having to take my damn calipers off :(

i wouldnt only be sending them D2s. would rather they based it on a stock unit tbh so they could get all the brackets and stuff right.

i may just go for the teins. i just dont want to spend out again and not be happy. what are the monoflex like on the road?

thats a fair point that fella

i'd keep the D2's and get some softer springs. perfectly good coilover and IMO better than superstreets as you can go lower without affecting spring preload.

i looked into that. apart from the fact they are harder to find that hens teeth, you can only go one kg either side of the spring rate the coilover is supplied with as D2 say it may damage the damper unit due to the valving inside not matching the spring.

they arent that bad alot of the time, and on quite a few roads they are outstanding. i just find that if i want to blat around some B roads round my way i cannot use the power i have as the car isnt very stable on those kind of roads.

Could it perhaps be that the car is setup too stiff ? Because you mention B-roads.. and here all B-roads are a bit bumpy :) Do you have enough travel left for the shocks ? What tyres are you running ? Have you tried running without front swaybar ? If the car is setup wrong, a different shock won't help you.

I will say cusco zero 2 coilovers, they are infinetely better than my old tein hrs, this car handles so well on the road! Teins rocked on the track, im hoping these cuscos can match them.

D2 coilovers are meant for the track. they are too hard. they dont bottom out or anything and there is plenty of travel. spring preloads have been matched in all 4 corners. height is exactly the same all round and i have a camber of 1.5 degrees and its all been aligned. they handle fine. its just they cannot take bumpy roads because of the type of coilover they are
