big end bearing number

need to order big end bearings from toyota, when i spoke to the guy he said they are numbered 1,2,3 for each different set. how do you tell which are yours? i gave him my chassis number but he said that didnt help , mine is a n reg imported glanza v . cheers aidan

you need to pull its apart and its stamped on the bearing

iv got some 1s bran new that i can do you cheap

how much would you be looking for them? if i take the sump off will i be able to see what there stamped? cheers aidan

for a motor which has done over 50,000kms ALWAYS use marking 2 no matter what ur bearings read ;)

They are marked, 1,2 or 3, and i found that these were not on the actual bearing, they are on the rods

They are on the bearing.

Never seen any marking on the rods in relation to the bearing number.
