its going well mate. new tyres not on yet unfortrunately. jury still out on whether crap tyres work best as they might get rear end involved sooner

10psi on the front with the semis, they'll cut loose but you'll get the max possible grip, the rears will back u up when they need to :)

Not long home, had a great day, very very impressed with the new tyres but alot more can be squeezed out of them on the 0-60ft.

By the time I got my road tyres back onto the car they where allowing people on the circuit so I did a few laps and then let my brother have a go. It was damn good fun, never seen so much smoke come out of my brakes before though! Aboslutly roasted them.

Heres a couple of vids from today, both with my brother driving my car, I had a wee brake and took some video, sorry for the quality!

First ones him against a BMW of some sort, he was running 13.3s but my car lets him down in 3rd when the ignition cuts or something.

Who was the guy in the Starlet GT that shafted his Head gasket? Is he on here? Unlucky, was he tempted into upping the boost beyond what she was mapped for? Hope ya got home ok lad!

Seriously, bring something to race lol! Your up there every month lad, u need something to make it worth your while. Must take u 2 hours to get there!!!

edit: At last a vid with me driving!!!! lol, your the only one that got me racing, my bro never took any film. U can see the difference in launching them tyres make.

Gutted for the guy that blew the HG, was he upping the boost today beyond the map? what was his best time?

Lad one of ur videos is marked wrong, u have Ted and WeeJohn but its Ted and me racing.

Flip 0.9 isn't a wild amount of boost on a TD04, just bad luck then I guess or as u say a nasty boost spike! Maybe it was pinking? What fuel was he running? Is she mapped for it? I seen him coming down after his last run and the white smoke was pissing out of it.

Really looking forward to getting my new mani and letting Chris do his thing with the mapping.

all the other lads are pissing it up at Jays lol, no doubt we'll hear from em all tomorrow.

ya he was told not to run that boost till his car was sorted but you know how it is when you get on the drag strip you just keep hoping for more speed :(lads are pissing it up at Jays say it will be a great night drinking:beer:

Aye lad when ur up at the Strip and are expecting a certain time and don't ge it, its very very hard to resist the wee boost switch lol!

Sure Head gasket he can fix handy enough!

Be sure to come next month lad, theres going to be some big changes in my motor, I've it all worked out!
