bit of help please

hi, i've just done the headgasket on my car, and i've tightened the head bolts to 22Nm then 44Nm.

but i've just read these two threads and it shows that my headbolts aren't tight enough, car is back together and engine has been running. am i to remove the cams and retighten or would it be ok as it is?

i would mate, easyer to do it now than risk blowing the gasket and hav to do the hole lot again

just do the 90 degree mate over tightened bolts cause problems

do the 90 degress lad do it right just take the cams off a do the 90 then all will be well

true. just a pain to have to remove both camshafts again and then redo the timing etc. just because two of the headbolts are impossible to get to with the camshafts in place. argghh

yes make sure you put the sevice bolt in the intake cam before removing the cams

yup all i want is piece of mind, had a whole nightmare of a month with this bloody car. im going to sort this out now. Thanks everyone.
