Bit of progress today :)

I odered some powerflex engine and gearbox mount bushes a few weeks back from Mike at Tuning Developments....They finally arrive here in Australia (Quicker Than I expected) so decided to fit them! But first thought the actual mount itself was a bit tatty so got out the air comp and spray gun.........heres what I cam up with.. Silver pearl base coat 2 layers, 3 layers special Pearl harliquin blue, 3 layers of clear coat! what you guys think?

testing it out in the bay.....colour looks mint and looks so clean against the yellow

So they looked perfect, and I looked in the engine bay which had been painted white with aerosol by me as the guy who had the car before me paint it red...before after pics below......

still looked crap IMO....sooooooooo,

Toyota 040 super white 2 pac went down........all over the front end...everywhere.

You dont realise how time consuming paint is until you get stuck in.......

been at it all day with only probably 1 hours worth of painting...the rest is sanding and prep time

the prep work is 90% of the time, if not even more
that is looking mighty white there! what kind of color sceme are you going for with the engine? more sparkly blue? (not too sure bout the sparkly bits tbh)

this is what my bay ended up like after a white respray and an engine rebuild: might give you some idea's?

Where is your expansion tank and wiper washer bottle?

The colour scheme is going to compromise of mainly white, blue and black.......Similar to yours, but my gear box is white, master cylinder is black, clear timing belt cover and all brackets sparkly blue LOL.

moved the washerbottle and coolant bottle behind the passenger seat and the battery box is in the back. fuse box is in the glove box lol

i was playing with a white gearbox in my mind but didn;t go through with it. very curious how it will look in your bay
