Bought Lsd gearbox

Found an lsd box for sale i went to see it and its not the oem type one so must have an aftermarket one , i tried to turn the mainshaft and hold the inner cv but wouldnt turn and when you hold cv from one side and try to yurn the other one it doesnt turn either . When i turn the mainshaft both cv tur in thesame direction . Is there a way to know what LSD i have without pulling the gearbox appart?

yea pop the 2 drives out of the box and look through the hole were the 2 of them were , if u can see straight through u have a lsd and if u see a pin going through u dont have lsd hope this helps

yeah xactly but will check what he is saying to see if you really can see through so all lsd you can see through is it ?
