Braided turbo hose in the way

Hi guys,

Trying to fit a relocation filter and it seems the braided oil hose on the turbo is in the way, making the bottom if the hose slightly fouling the oil hose, and not allowing the relocation pipe sit flush agaist the turbo, also allowing me to clamp it down properly.

Anyone else had this problem? What could i do to try resolve this? A longer braided hose would work I guess lol I tried move the hose put the way abit but it wouldn't budge. Didn't want to really push it put the way incase I damaged the oil hose.

I have it clamped down at the moment, but im worried because it's not on 100%, it may come off. I gave it a few tugs and it seems pretty tight, just prefer if it was fitted properly for peace of mind.

Any help would be great!

Added a picture below to show my problem.

clamp

i'd move the clamp slightly more towards the turbo so that it bites as much of the turbo inlet port as possible. which turbo is this..? a ct9..?

Thanks for you help mate, Yeh standard ct9. In the pic the clamp wasn't tightened. Was just to show how close the silicon got to the oil hose. When I try put the clamp as much as I can over the inlet, it just slides off when I tighten it, because the oil hose is in the way the clamp goes on at an angle if u get me. (the clamp won't fit between the silicon and the oil hose as it's too tight) Another way to resolve this, I'm thinking I could trim off some silicone and making the bottom part thinner, allowing me to put the clamp in-between the silicone and the hose? Assuming add have to trim off quite abit... Even cutting out a little square? Allow me to secure it properly.

I take it the hose is oil line is connected to the turbo by a bolt or a fitting? You can loosen the bolt, or the fitting on the end of the line and turn the oil line end fitting around the bolt so it sits at a differnt angle and clears the relocation hose.

Not really sure how the oil line is connected as I couldn't really see it. I'll have a check tomorrow morning and see if I can loosen it and spin it around abit, thanks for the advice.
