brake fail

my caldina gt-t brakes now and then go hard and donot work propley and when that happens the car pulls to 1 side when you brake. and i noticed yesterday the front passenger wheel and the back drivers side wheel was hot, does any 1 know what may be the cause ???

if they were hot It would be only one thing. something is rubbing off something, more than likeley i reckon it could be a piston that comes out from the caliper stuck and dont come back so pads are always rubbing of the disc generating heat

Could be the calipers sticking on mate. Jack the corners up and spin each wheel in turn. You might be able to diagnose it further from that.

sounds like the master cylinder is at fault, the brakes work on opposite corners, it sounds like the master cylinder isnt letting the pressure back out when you take your foot off the brake so when you reapply half of the pressure is already there, hense the hard pedal
