bought some breaks off another member on here, thought ide ave a go at fitting the lot myself. break lines, discs and pads.

got jays tutorial leading me through no problems, only thing is i got no clue how to bleed the breaks, never done it before. i got a bleeding kit, and i think i see the nipple for bleeding on the caliper. which reseviour is the break fluid in? theres a tiny res by the bulkhead just behind another one. which of these two isit? any one got any pics etc to guide me through this easy job :p thanks.

which kit did you buy as the toyota resovoir isnt a screw one like the majorty of cars - its like a rubber lid...

ouu err oh dear. got jus sum shitty one outta halfords that said it was universal

im 99.9% sure it wont fit, if you look in the box, youll see all the fittings to the bottle, but if you look a the one on the starlet its completly different.

im pretty sure the resovoir for brake fluid is one nearest the bulkhead.

it says nothing about the resourvior in the pack, its just a draining bit by looks of things, bit that connects to calliper??

so should this kit work then mate? drain from calliper with it, keep eyes on reservior, top it up accordingly, turn nipple closed when the fresh stuff starts coming through???

top man, so its the slightly bigger one, just back right behind the power steering fluid? right?

Yip, the one just behind the powersteering one.. should have a "siv" type thing inside to prevent dirt gettin inside your bake lines.
