Camera's ??

did a lot of research before getting my camera and all of the photographers I was impressed by recommended Nikon. I went to a few camera shops and everything from the accessories to the build quality of the Nikons seemed superior so that what I got.

Also its all about the lens. Dont be fooled by big megapixel numbers etc. The camera can only capture the image that the lens supplies to it. I have the kit lens that came with my d60 and a nikkor 75-300mm which was more expensive than the camera but gives fantastic shots.

Also budget for a good tripod, essential in my opinion, for any car shots where you want to use a bit of camera trickery.

Some examples of pics Ive taken with mine

I've got a Canon 400D and pretty pleased with it's results, always get good feedback for my shots. Certainly is a good place to start if you're getting into SLR's, as only costs about £350/£400 now. The lens is a tamron 28-300mm which cost £250

if u want a good basic DSLR id go for a Canon EOS 1000d ... 10.1mp & its pretty impressive.. round about the amount u want to spend as well.. if u want to take it a little further with the future in mind go for the EOS 450d 12.2mp & ull never look back, only problem is the Kit lens is a little crap.. well u cant expect much from a 18~55mm .. but its a fantastic camera!!
