car wont start??

hi,

yesterday for some reason my car decided not to start. when i parked it it was totally fine two days earlier.
it turns over but does not start i removed one HT lead at a time and found only one lead was actually giving a spark.
what could be the problem?

help appreciated

could be a bad earth which will cause the coil not to spark, take the coil lead of the distributor & check the spark if there is any, could also try a diagnostic test see if any codes some up by i think you'll find itll just say code 12 (ignition problem) but you never no something else might come up.

sorry theres another thread the very same as this.. could be your dizzy cap.. take it apart and clean the points with very light sand paper or scotch pad and see then
