cars starts but doesnt turn off

Ok put engine into new shell with same engine loom .thing is engine starts up but when I turn it off engine doesn't knock off lol.there was a turbo timer wired into the car already could this be the problem .?even when the turbo timer is off the engine still wount turn off

usual suspects would be the ignition barrel, and now that you mentioned a t/timer, ensure that it's wiring is proper. best to remove it entirely and test in an elimination sequence. see if that helps..

Yes il disconnect the timer first

@billybob: quick question, when you turn the ignition from LOCK to ACC then to ON - without starting the car, do your accessories like the radio come on at ACC then your dash warning lights at ON..? how about when this same sequence is done in reverse..? does the equipment go off..? for instance, will your temp gauge still be giving you a reading above 'C' even though your key is pulled out BUT the engine is still running or will it drop to under the 'C' as is usual with the ignition off..?
