Castrol ep 80/90w gear oil

is it ok to use this on our tranny? car is daily driven in a tropical country..
coz im having a hard time looking for 75-90w gear oil.

Do you have an aftermarket (or stock) Limited Slip Diff?

If so, definetely not. I'd hold fire and get the correct stuff personally, but you might get away with a 80w90 in a stock gearbox with stock diff. Hopefully someone else will say for sure

thanks for replies its a stock diff. will it work efficiently on a stock diff? planning to change gear oil next month. right now im using a sae 90 gear oil. hahaha
