My brother drove into the side of my door and put a lovely dent into it. I found a replacement door and want it getting swap over.

Anyone done this before? Is it hard? Trouble is the new door is windy windows and the old one is electric, so all that needs swapping over. Any idea how much a garage would charge for this? Thanks

Its piss easy but you need 2 people to do it,
Remove the door card inside and disconnect any electricals then you just undo the bolts on the hinges,
It would be best if somone can hold the door while you undo the hinge bolts.

It should not take any longer than 20 mins

And what about changing the internals from manual to electric windows lads?

Unbolting the door and putting a new one in its place is easy to do, changing over the internals is a bit trickier, but with the 2 doors off and laid beside each other it might be easy for you to see how to do it.

i changed the electric windows over in a saxo

i didnt find it two hard had to take the motor arm of the window and drill out the pop rivets and on the orther door i unbolted the winder out the swap them over had to put to tec screws to put the motor in but could be different in the starlet

hope this helps
