To be honest buddy,I run a toyo sports manifold off eBay.....and that is fine no cracks what so ever..I think it's the extra support needed due to being stainless and not as robust as expensive ones....braced decays help loads with cracking issues as it takes strain and some
Of ye weight of the turbo off the manifold!i would buy one mine was £93 delivered next day and it's a nice bit of kit.
mate ive cracked two of them, thankfully only one of them I paid for, the other came on another car when I got it. It will crack, its only a matter of time. Most cracking occurs due to expanding and contraction on heating and cooling, throw in some shit welds and you got a manifold that wont last. Bracing only helps a bit, helps more with the bigger, heavier turbo kits when there is more strain due to the weight. Having an exhaust flexi helps also.
To the OP, if you dont want to fork out due to future plans etc, get a standard cast manifold and get all the runners and the collector ported. It will be a far better job than the crap on ebay
