Check engine light when overtaking

Hi,

I've been seeing the check engine light come up on situation where I'm overtaking.

On the highway doing about 80kph, shift down to 3rd gear and press the accelerator. The engine revs up and boost come up as usual. But then I see the check engine light on. I dont think I've hit the fuel cut. Got HKS actuator set at 10psi. Boost may spike to 12psi but normally is 10psi.

The light goes away after stopping and starting the engine.

Where should I start checking??

sounds like fuel cut to me probably due to boost creep, dude for peace of mind id put a FCD on there there cheap enough thats where id start or you turn boost down on the actuator then go for a blast and see if it cures your problem

Sounds like fuel cut to me, does it feel like you hit a brick wall?

Its jst mild fuel cut mate no need to turn the engine off jst take it easy and it will go off mine used to do it.

More importantly why third gear to overtake on ct9 lol

Yeah I remember fuel cut does go off after a while, but this didnt go off for like almost 20mins... before I stopped and restart the engine.

I did confirm today going hard on 2nd gear did hit the fuel cut. Same problem of the light coming on, and staying on...

Confused... I remember I had fuel cut before and the light lit up and goes away after it's back to normal. This one didn't
