i found the r888 last longer than t1r's

I dont understand how you came to that conclusion? My 888's up front on my Ek9 lasted me around 5 months. That set didnt touch a track and wasnt daily driven. I cant believe how fast they ware thats why i refuse to buy another set as the cost does not justify them being used as a road tire.

The performance they give are incredible, on track they are just superb.

i was only getting 3000k wit the t1r's and about 5000k wit the r888
and that was wit a few drag days 2

i use potenza's mate but there leathal in the rain... animal tyre tho. & with the recession i dont think il be able 2 afford 4 of them again :( maybe just 2 up the front :)

a mate told me the r888's where being banned for road use? this true or a load of bull

will be but not for a few years i think, grand for now. i put a thread up abut it a while bk.


pity ur in cork mate i work for a tyre wholesaler an can get most tyres at very good prices :homer:

Ive used the potenza RE11, brilliant tire also but so expensive and only available in Japan. I think Nengun can get them in.
