Correction...the Del Sol is based on the CRX model...however, the older CRX model had a carburator engine while the newer generations CRX (Del Sol) has VTEC!

^^^ Ask to see the Del Sol go round a corner...whilst using the throttle too. Guaranteed, the car will be for spares on eBay the next morning

its only a bit "useless" off the line coz you cant get the power down aswell as 4wd or rwd i suppose but when your moving its fine lol

For those that don't believe a crx del sol is based on a civic it says so even here on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CR-X_del_Sol the original ones were called civic del sol in America. The original 2nd generation crx came with vtec as well called the ef8 sir which had 160 hp it was the first gen b16a engine the 3rd generation crx known as the del sol also had the b16a engine aka the sir

both a bit of a monster alot of people say it cant go round corners, cant see why it wont go round a corner as well as a normal civic? just soon as he gets power down its off. as i respect that as its quick
