evos are slow lol mate i take it you have never owned one by that comment,ive owned 3 evos and 3 imprezas and trust me slow they arnt ,you just have to know how to drive them.
of course off the line the starlet is going to suffer thats always the thing with 2wd as proven in this video :

the evo isnt even 400hp in this video and the rst is 320hp and its only @140mph does he actually catch him and at that speed whats the point.
that cork glanza is one seriously fast car dont be fooled it would take one hell of a rice burner civic to take it on

be good to see the cork glanza go up against it ,tho is everyone saying that the cork glanza is the fastest about ?
if as you say tho the civic is a proper drag car its not really that fair

the fact the civic runs more power than your ever likely to get out of a 4e/5e would be a large factor also lol and yes its the red one on te37s.
im not sure that gedis would be the fastest about mate, ted and weejohn both have 4wd and are forged and running decent power ted hasnt been on the rollers BUT he mite not be far off 300hp and with 4wd :rockon:
spuddy has about the same hp as gedis(cork glanza) but in a gt (lighter probably) striped out and running a drag orientated setup my bet would be on his being the quickest fwd gt atm, and thats not to forget animal gt he must be close to the 300hp mark aswell!

lol i seen that red civic it can fairly move alright was thinking it was that car.
yea see i was gonna say about the 4wd gt's they are bound tobe animals off the line also esp if they are anywere near the 300hp mark.
this is a very intrest topic and seems everyone is very intrested,we should mybe get something sorted and rank the top 10 fastest gt/glanza's against each other(all fully legal of course no silly street racing),all depends tho on the people who own the cars ...would be very very intresting to see how they all fair out plus be good for a bit of crack

just for arguments sake, i would say theres gna be a few 300+ starlets on this site...all probz about the same power...but for pure speed or 1/4 times, from what ive heard teds starlet would whoooop everything in its way. man 300bhp+4wd in a dinky little starbo, wow thats gta be sumthin to drive.

lad theres others down south thats running over that power in glanzas /starlets they just dont drag race them but do race them now and again

yeah i know, was just mentioning a few that would frequent the strip already that would be similar power the gedis's car.
there is a wee white glanza up here apparently running 350hp and an ep95 with 400. and then there is garygt with this new 10k rpm engine/manifold design etc etc
next year or so will see some more advances in ep tuning over here no doubt.
