coolant temp & fueling relation

3 wire plug seems to go to the ecu (temp guage)
1 wire plug seems to go to the radiator fan

There is also a separate single wire plug to consider that goes to the Dash Temp. warning light.

My green EP82 plug has 2 wires Temp sensor , Just wondering is the 3 wire green plug temp sensor on the auto box or just for the 3 plug ecu's generally ? I am curious as I read that the auto box control unit has a HWT ( high water temp shutdown ) connector that should come off a sensor somewhere.

@Rev: the dash temp warning light..? which one is this.. i have a pic here of the dashboard lights off a glanza s after i did a dashboard conversion. from left, they are:
- battery discharge: illuminates when there is a fault with the charging system
- egt (exhaust gas temp): illuminates when exhaust temps are exceeded - or is this the coolant temp light?
- seatbelt: illuminates when the driver seatbelt is not secured
- oil pressure: illuminates when oil pressure/level is below the recommended
- handbrake: illuminates when the parking brake is on or when brake fluid level is low

Replying to part of my own post ,yes - I found the DIY starlet link above shows Sensor 89428E as Temperature sensor for transmission ( auto i suppose ) so the third green plug wire is for something else?
