Anyone have any idea how much is it likely to cost to courier an engine within Ireland? Also, how much should it roughly cost to swap a standard engine for a standard engine if im paying someone/garage to do it?

Shouldn't cost much, phone any of the overnight pallet companies. All you
will need is post codes and weight. Once it is secured on a pallet all is grand. I'd reckon about 90 euro
