the bubble shaped one with the pulsar lump got crashed a few months after it got a mag feature if i remember was doin like 125mph on a track, lost it and hit a wall. looked awsome though!!

i love them, knew about them before i descoverd the starlet. couldnt find ont for sale though and thats how i found the starlet lol

Super Mod (極度の調整器)
There are 3 small engined hatchbacks that are mental (there are others, but I think these are the best), the first is the Starlet Turbo, the second is the Micra Super Turbo, the third is the Daihatsu Storia X4...

Just need a Micra to complete my collection... ;)

How does the storia compaire to the charade gtti?
thats another car i wanted before i descoverd the gt :rockon:

Super Mod (極度の調整器)
The Storia's a unique driving experience... No power low down, so you can be in 4th gear between 20-30mph! However, when it's turbo time, it's frenetic, revs up to 8.5k and flies! Sounds like a touring car, diff whine, valves, it's ACE! :)

Haven't really taken the time to explore the car properly yet, once I get some more goodies for it, I'll get it tuned up a bit (160bhp should be easy with some bigger injectors and boost management).

And now I'll wait for the comments from the un-educated about 160bhp not being much... ;)

I'd much rather have a GTti over the Micra thingy, there are less than 250 GTti's in the UK now, last DVLA status showed most of them are SORN too! GTti also weighs 820KG standard.

I know of a 190bhp Storia/Sirion X4, gets to 100 in just over 9 seconds, it runs 2bar of boost. Apparently they handle very well too, you can't get them through dealers over here though. He also previously had a GTti which ran a 11.3 sec 1/4 mile and at around 200bhp.

I might add he's been on the forums recently asking for papers as they're doing everything to try and ban him from his sprint/hillclimb class!


As for 160bhp, my GTti is running the same figure (Not even with a proper hybrid). 160bhp in a 750kg car is entertaining!

That's nothing chap, was speaking to Dane a while ago, and he says that 2 brothers in Japan have 385bhp out of their Storia!!! :eek:

Nice when you have a forged engine as standard... ;)
