The flanges will not be the same, oil lines will not be the same, water lines will not be the same.
Down pipe will not be the same and cold side intake and boost sizes will not be the same.
A good idea is to do a CT12/CT20 hybrid! The CT12 exhaust side flows a lot better than CT9.

PS, you had to dig deep to get this thread out of the grave :p

yea it took abit of looking. so do you mean a ct12 exhaust with a ct20 turbo. with this bolt straight on or still alot for work?
you see this week my engine is getting ripped out to get the head and gaskets redone and what to set it up so i can bolt it in by the time my mate comes down and
helps with the head . also is there a ct12 and a ct12 hybrid or are they just the same

I have a massive interest in this post I have a ct12 hybrid going on my forged 4efte don't expect much difference from a hybrid ct9 just maybe a little more top end but I have bits of old turbos in the workshop and am considering a ct20 hybrid but im unsure of results from either

CT12 exhaust housing with CT12 core and turbine wheel/shaft, with CT20 compressor wheel and housing.
Or CT12 exhaust housing bored out to take complete CT20.

The CT12 hybrid with CT12 comp housing will make more power higher in the rev range vs CT9 hybrid.
