Difference In Computer Box?

Is it true that there's 2 different computer box for the 4e-fte engine? one for automatic and one for manual?

As far as I know, the 1989-1992 manual and auto GT's both had the same ecu's but from 1992 on the ecu was changed for the auto. I hope this helps

Are you running manual transmission bro?

If not you can use any of the 4EFTE ECU's to run the 4EFTE so long as the connectors match the loom you are using.

Two plug loom = 1989-1991 Auto 4EFTE and 1989-1995 Manual ECUs
Three plug loom = 1992-1999 Auto 4EFTE and 1996-1999 Manual ECUs

You can even use the glanza auto ecu when you have an automatic ep82
