I hope we are talking about figures recorded at the wheels.
On your graph even with NOS you are no where near 300lb/ft of torque and that is a 5e.
Hmmmmm!!!!
Im talking at the wheels. Your right too if your talking about my 271hp sheet. It made roughly 256ft/lb torque. But 2 weeks later, same dyno, same setup, just a little cooler day and it made 279hp and 324ft/lb toque. My apologies, I dont think I posted that sheet. Personally I think torque figures are highly inaccurate on dynos though.
With the power dropping off, I found with the stock throttle body, no matter what we tried, the power dropped back to about 180hp at the wheels after 6500rom. With a 60mm throttle body, the power still dropped back, back not as quickly and not until 7000rpm. With a little more lift on the cams (3mm) and no duration added, power doesnt drop off at all till about 7400rpm and even then its only a little.
who knows... to be honest im more concerned with how it performs on the road that what it says on abit of paper. and i know its good on the road so thats all that matters to me
Your spot on mate. The dyno is a tuning tool. What your car does on the road/track is far more important than a piece of paper.
Remember; its not all about the numbers
