hi readers,
does anyone have or know about the japanese model starlet soleil.
I have one, it was originally a 1.3 4efe (non turbo), i converted it to 1.5 5efhe (still non turbo).
After doing the conversion and driving about 20 miles, i noticed a clutch smell and alot of smoke, so i pulled in and my brake pads had caught fire.
The front brake pads and discs are fooked, they are non vented solid discs, i was wondering does anyone know a set of front brake (discs/calipers) that will swap over without to much messing about.
I am currently driving with tien adjustables and 15inch alloys.
I was looking at brakes on a european 94 corolla xli, they are vented, slightly bigger and look pretty similar but does anyone know if they will fit?
And if they dont fit, what do you recommend?
