EP85 X-LTD info please

Can someone confirm that this 2 door or 4 door as i am after a 2 door but found this X-LTD with 2 crap pictures which doesn't give it away how many doors there are, but has the sheet which tells you about scratches and imperfections dents etc and seem good condition.

All X-Limited's are 5 door.

Make sure the chassis starts EP85 as the EP82 also exists in X-Limited trim too mate.

Yes mate it says EP85 X-LTD 4WD 5MT in the listing its like a dark blue colour, not sure whether i want it as im in the market for a 2 door. So think i will just wait for a 2 door to be listed in the near future :)

It wouldn't stop me, in fact I'd love a 5 door auto just to be different! :haha:

Only downside I could see is that a GT interior and bodykit will only fit a 3 door. Other than that it's all about condition and mileage.

You will know the right one when you see it. I think Trev spent ages waiting on 'the one' when bringing the first 4X4 over for turbo'ing.

To be honest i wouldn't be bothered about the GT interior as it just looks like a sleeper when you turn up to a track or 1/4 mile then when you unleash it.

Yep i think im looking for 'the one' aswell now :) no rush im still young haha

Going by toydiy.com if you want a 3dr EP85 then you'll need to be looking for a model type S or Soleil-L, however Toyota also built an Soleil-L EP85 in 5dr flavour.

If it's the one that's got 116,000kms, it's definitely a 5-door chap.

i thought ryans 3 door was an x limited? had leccy sunroof an all that? it wasnt a soleil or a type s

i thought that this there were not available in malta after seing one soleil l 5 door and check it if there is a dif at rear and didnt belive is 4x4 starlet i dino need to find the owner maybe he can sell it the car was white with red stripes was a limited edition i think, did someone now is efi or carb this engines ?

Asked the importer he said would have cost about £1500 with shipping import tax paid and that but its already sold, oh well im keeping my eyes open for a 2 door :)

for anybody that has done this conversion, are you guys just sticking the gt bits on a 4wd model or is it also possible to swap the 4wd running gear on to a gt/glanza?

GT bits on an EP85, have to use all the original running gear from the 4wd and the sump off the 4wd but have to have the oil return welded into the sump.

Im wondering if i was to get EP85 does it matter what loom/ecu combo you use? Aslong as you use a glanza loom with glanza ecu and gt loom with gt ecu.
