errrrr battery issues

ok new battery bought, put in second hand altenator, car was running fine, now today different story, not enough power , car starts to stall etc....like its not charging. checked points there fine, earth fine. it will start with jump.

anything else to look for? (my mate gone to get power meter)

is the belt slipping u would here that tho if all earths are fine could b just a shitty alternator wen u get a multimeter stick it on the battery and see wat it reads then try turning ur full beems on and raido and if the power dies dwn ur altenator is not puting enough charge also i no its a new battery but u could hav a bust cell see if it can hold charge buy its self

If it's had a new battery and a alternator, try checking the wire that goes from the alternator to the battery to charge it. It may be resistive and stopping the battery from charging.

Yea, maybe there is a knot in it slowing the current down lol.

Check the square slow blow fuses at the top of the fuse box, think the ALT fuse is an 80 amp job. The fuse has 2 long coppers that pass into the bottom of the fusebox and bolt onto the wires for it.
