ever wondered why the G and R in GReddy are in capitals i have and found this:

i think gt stands for gran turismo regardless of manufacturer could be wrong tho

GT usually refers to "Grand Touring", but was later adopted by hot hatches as 'GTi', because it sound's cool.
GT/GTi are usually used to identify the sporting models in a range rather than signifying it as being a Grand Tourer.
Nice info on GReddy too. I can now go into uber-pedant mode and bollock people when they say "Greedy" or "G-Ready"

ha thats weird....ive always said it gred-dy like they say but thought i was wrong....its like people say pre-lude when its prel-ude
