i wont do it shakira because you will start driving it before you are fully recovered and hurt your self more, also if u have a crash the insurance will be void as you are unfit to drive. plus ur skint and cant pay for the bearing to be pressed, i dont mind paying for it but only when ur signed off and ok to drive x


i did a bearing one sunday on my old gt and no where was open. so i got a sledge hammer and placed it in the bearing shell.. the hammer was smaller then the middle ball divider so i couldnt fall through.. then i placed the hub on a bench and hit it with another hammer 3 times and the shell fell out... sounds a bit rough using a hammer but its not really..

might save you afew pound if you try that.. but dont forget to take out the circlip or u could burr the edge..

this is how mine looks at moment, lol. changing a brake pads, driveshaft seals and cv boots.

Everyones is under construction, I cant wait to get back in it though best feeling ever, my first GT was off the road for 6months so hope to get this on back asap
