Just a quickie...

Getting stainless system made up next week, got the choice to get either straight through or have a wee box in the middle like the jap aftermarket one Ive got on at the moment.

Know what I mean? lol

With or without? What difference would it make with or without, he only mentioned slight sound difference.

Well I went in with the intention of getting straight through till it got on the ramps and he asked if i wanted an exact match, couldnt quite decide at the time lol

iv got a straight through, hks silent-hi power with the silencer removed. love the sound. nice and deep tone to it

true, but most performance exhausts have mid boxes which are straight through, ie they just dampen sound not power.. also i hope ur going for an exhaust system with measurements of around 60~70mm (depending on how far u want to take ur engine but it will b ready for future big mods if slightly larger)

its same diameter pipework, if I remember rightly its about 2.5''

just wondering really wheather to get mid box or not thats all. Any real difference with or without?

Im not planning to get silly figures, 200hp max, not spending too much on it lol only replacing due to the pipe blowing in a couple of places

Iv put a staight thru pipe on my glanza and performance much better.. no half measures mate

ahh its sorted now lol went straight through, feels a lot less restritive for sure and its also louder, looks nice and shiney aswell

im getting mine made up next monday. full 2.5inch s/s with my current zigen fireball backbox.

well Ive got a couple more things I need to do, then I'll be putting it all up lol

I had a 5zeigen on my MR2, it sounded awsome! Wasnt geet loud though

starlet is louder now, but not too loud thank god, learnt my lesson with stupidly loud exhausts
