Defo try find an Alusil, it was the 1st thing I checked when I viewed it but for the price and how it drove my dad and I weren't too worried. I mean, the problem was caused by the excess sulphur in petrol back in the mid-90's...so if it did somehow survive that period and petrol these days is perfectly fine for the Nikasil block, what do I really have to worry about? And its not like "the damage has already been done", as the engine would be tired/run rough, which it doesn't!

I have to take you out in it! Dangerous car though, put your foot down slightly without paying attention and you're doing 60 in a 30 without even realising! Eeek! Smooth as a baby's bum.
