Having only just bought this lovely MK2 I may be forced to sell it as I may be losing my job (fun times!) bit upset after spending 600 getting the belt done and alarm fitted.

For sale: Tornado Red, Mk2 golf Gti 16v Big bumper model (now has 4 light grill and standard lights will post more pics when soon)

Item Condition: Used

Price and price conditions: Looking at £1,700 £995 Has started to smoke a bit - Valve stem seals, have a guy that can rebuild the head for £75 quid (although It may just be the fact it's running Rich.)

It's a mk2 gti 16v, In tornado red.

Interier is almost mint
It has refurbished bbs rims.
Lowered on coilovers (unsure of make)
Brand new timing belt/tensioners (last week),
new water pump,
Full underbody sealed
front section of exhaust replaced
Newish brake disc's, pads and wheel bearings
a lot of new bush's
Working MFA
Full Cat1 Viper ZX Pager alarm (fitted a week ago with cert)
3 Parcel shelfs (one unmolested mint black one, 2 steath shelfs one with 6x9's, one with 10" speakers)
Light and grill swapped back to the standard (4 lights)


Bad parts

Idles @ 1200 ISV has been replaced (Ain't bloody cheap at all!!!) so running less rich will now need a retune!

cheers buddy, really don't want to sell this but I may be losing my job soon, so need something like a 1.4/1.6/1.8 (mpg dependant or a diesel!) so will take a part ex!

Bump - would PX for a diesel or 1.4 - 1.6 petrol

Thermostat's been replaced!

Cheers buddy, don't think I'm going to lose my job now but no tech/overtime means I can't really afford it either way :( which double sucks lol! specially after paying for an alarm, timing belt and few other things!

Okay need to shift my MK2 golf GTI 16v, I keep putting this off as it's such a fun car to drive and pulls like a train, Basically looking for a Diesel or could be tempted by another GT Turbo.

sound random but i got a micra 2001 1.0s auto with 30k on clock sat out back of my house if you want it prob do about 70mpg lol
