faulty thermostat?

are you getting high heat readings also chek your heat in the car see if it still hot when on if its bad the readings will go up car will overheat

or it can warm up then the temp can drop back down and the car will rev a bit higher to warm the temp back up

Mine used to randomly drop to about 1/4 on the meter on a long run, then go back up, then back down (as it was getting stuck open and shut)

Then on the way to a date my temperature needle hit 3/4 and I stopped. That was a hint mine was gone - and I got no lurving!

i change mine with a service, there only £6 new :cool:

If you remove in and pop the kettle on lol, put the thermostat in a cup and fill it with the boiling water, you`ll see it opening with the heat, then pop it into a cup of cold water and it`ll close, if it does neither its broken
