Fidanza flywheel- what benefits?

Hi there- saw these and wondered what benefit it would add for me.

I'm forged running standard td04 at 1.4 bar..get full boost about 3800rpm

Would be interested to know how the fidanza would aid my setup... Does it rev quicker? Would this mean although spool same rpm - time wise may be quicker? Would this be noticeable?

Any adverse affects of using one? Thanks

installing a lighter flywheel helps the crank turn faster, even more if u balance the crank with the flywheel, so yes, it will rev faster

no remap, just install it, its like changing the clutch mate, its right behind the clutch disk

imo u will need to correct ur map slightly...coz it revs quicker...
am not very fan of it though.....
with td04 at 1.2-1.3 bar it goes in rev very quick..very quick...
if ure doing a 400 metres you will have to use 4th gear too..:)

I wouldnt reduce the weight too much, becuase there is some benifit to having a bit of intertia throwing around to air spool up time. But you'd have to take a large amount off to even worry about this I feel.

but the map will be according to revs/pressure so wouldnt effect the map if it just revs faster

when people say that it revs a lot better does that ultimately mean i will accelerate quicker and the turbo in realtime seconds will come in faster?

if you have the money buy one, nice part to have even if you find you dont notice the difference. lol

if you arent just buying it for the sake of it or for trackwork. id not bother if its just for road use.

thanks. how does the revving up better affect real life perfomance? thank you

It physically makes your car travel quicker as you build the revs up faster. De-accelerating also is faster. You can slow right down sometimes without breaking. I really like it. Not sure if you notice it quite as much with a turbo car as you would a N/A car. Principle is the same but the turbo lag may muffle the feeling a bit.
