well yesturday we mapped her to 17/18psi my god what an animal!!!!! the rain started so mapping had to come to a close but the final map will be 24/25psi that should flat the turbo out safely i hope but again lag wise dont see the problem at all doesnt seem it at all if im honest get in the right gear haha
and here we was playing with launch control sounds nuts in person
lool its deffo launch control trust me haha, cheers to be honest 18psi to me feels bloody quick lool dread to think what its like at 25 then get it to pod and try crack a 12 if the cv joints hold up lol
im using a kms ecu with a fiesta turbo coilpack leads and crank sensor had a 36 to 1 trigger wheel fitted and balenced to the crank pulley and mounted the sensor, also got a cosworth 3 bar map sensor, i was having trouble with getting the tps to work with the ecu even the auto one wouldnt really work so i got a cosworth throttle body which the tps sensor works with alot of messing about but its good software all the extras like anti lag launch control flat shifting with it and ive got a little digital display that reads everything off the ecu which will go on soon
got the side exit on now! sounds the nuts not as loud as i thought, its quieter than my old exhaust on a general drive about love the whistle it does lol
went to devil development so my mate form ignition advantage could borrow there dyno to finish the map off and get some figure but the fuel pump failed dont get a walbro what shit lasted 3 weeks!! so found something else there fitted that and started again then the fuel pressure reg decided to self adjust!! sooo we called it a night wasnt a waste of journey i would of been st home ragging it n not known the fuel pump failed lol
So today we got old a webber fuel pressure reg ditched the bleed valve and got the ecu to control the boost which made a big difference so far we are at 24psi it bloody moves i give it that lol
right plans over the winter nothing drastic but im taking it off road, stripping the whole loom back and buying a kms braided loom that will tidy the bay up paint a couple bits, sort some body work out, and sort my exhaust manifold out it had a little crack
