Fuel cut on STD ecu Q's

Fuel cut is quite clever then really, do any other cars have it?

Most turbocharged cars do from factory. Its set high enough over the max boost so the only way you'll hit it is on purpose for warranty reasons.

I also recommend the clamp type FCD over the resistor type HKS FCD. Running that mush over the fuel cut wont be a problem for the car.
