standard fuel pressure i think is 2.3 bar .

someone correct me if im wrong.

that pressure is all speculation. its never been tested. it is the word on the street but wouldnt take it as gospel mate. i would say its more like 2.8bar personally.

thats sound lad ive only heard that been said before.

so between 2.6 - 2.8 would be safe

but the car should be set up using a wideband to make sure its safe.

it has been said, but no one has ever proven it. i just think its more like 2.8.

if you are running under fuel cut and you fit an adjustable fpr, i would set it to 2.8. get it checked using a wideband, but i would say its not far out at all

i agree on this one, i think its more like 2.6-2.8 would be interesting to see actual proof of what it is tho.

Thanks so much for this topic people :) I'm glad you tested it dan!

I just fitted an fpr today and 2.3 bar just didnt feel right at all on idle. I didnt want to drive the car at all! I've set it to run 2.5 bar to be safe and am gonna fit my greddy fcd tomorrow, then off to the rollers to adjust acordingly for 1 bar of boost :)

did you set it with the vac pipe off?

Yes. Thats the part that made me confused at first. I set it to the rumoured 2.3 bar with the vac pipe off, then when the pipe was put back on, the engine was spluttering under throttle blippage and just felt "off", this made me think something was wrong like it was running too lean on idle (which it was a bit as it turns out!).

I notice its popping a tiny tiny bit more now on overrun (this was also present on both my blitz and zep ecus) hinting at running slightly rich at 2.5 bar. Eitherway, its going on the rollers to be checked asap. :)

i can confirm the stock fuel pressure is 2.3bar.. this may vary slightly from car to car.. however 2.3bar is stock :)

yep i tested it at 2.4bar on stock reg :)

and i assume the stock vacume line was still connected when u did this test or did u disconnect it?

and HYBRID....was your test with the vacume line connected or disconnected?

this should help the members on here in terms of comparison

as i realsie some members set fuel pressure with the vacume line connected and some don't---this will result in different readings by the way
