Well the noise is definatley only coming from the front passenger side of the car. (The side where the CV boot has split) I had the front bumper off yesterday just to see if i could find anything and i couldnt. The only thing i came accross was the split cv boot. I didnt look inside it properly cos i didnt want too make the split any bigger. But from what i saw the grease did look pretty shitty.....
And i had came across a loose dipstick tube and tightened it up ages ago. But it was still the same
Also it does not matter how many revs i give the engine it will still do it as it even happens when i push the clutch in. I can barely hear it under 10 mph. then as the speed increases it gets louder and faster, and gets really bad especially after a spirited drive
